Brightstar
of the
Music-Weavers

Character Description:

You see standing before you, Brightstar, a tall lovely dragoness who stands almost 9 feet tall. Her scales are a rare white color, but upon closer examination, have an opalescent quality making them shimmer in varying soft colors. Large dark blue eyes sit back deeply into the soft scales of her face, seeming to glow with her inner warmth and beauty but also giving you the impression that she can see much more that she lets on. Her spines are black, running from her head to the tip of her tail. Looking at her again, you see she's a bit more broad-shouldered and taller than most Aldani, though this does not distract from her loveliness. From her back sprout her wings, which unfurled span a distance of almost 19 feet across.
She is dressed today in a dark blue over-dress worn with an light purple shift underneath. The over-dress is decorated with small shells and beads at the neck and hem in the form of music notes. Both over dress and shift are cut low in the back, allowing her wings freedom. Brightstar also wears a necklace around her neck in which the gold of the pendant has been finely crafted to resemble two intertwining roses. The flowers themselves have been cut from sapphire and amethyst stones.

Character Background:

As the only child of Lady Brinnah and her beloved mate, Lord Fhinid, Brightstar inherited Sithern Keep upon her mother's death less than a year ago, from what Brightstar believes, was a broken heart over her father's death the year before. At 200, many believed her to be too young to run the estate but she soon proved them wrong. A master at any instrument, Brightstar has the rare ability to weave her illusionary and healing magic into her music. She runs a small school at Sithern Keep where others that have shown this rare talent can come to learn more.

Lately, Brightstar has traveled to the gryphon sphere with the Captain of the Royal Guard, Strethan, on business for the Queen. Once in Gryrla though, the two dragons fell in love and announced their intentions to be mated once they returned to Menari. Preparations are in the works for their mating ceremony. Meanwhile, she has taken in several New Ones, helping them learn what they need to know.
